Frequent Questions and Answers

Q: What do you do when you get a commission?
A: I make custom illustrations with detail and design characters but can also create digital works. When working on commissions I contact the buyer through e-mail and send sample sketches to approve the progress of the piece. This usually helps to design the piece's format and character design.

Q: Are there refunds?
A: All commissions must be paid in full before any work can be done. If the piece is turned in and is not what you expected there is no refund. The same goes with canceling a commission and I have already begun the work.

Q: What rights do I have when commissioning?
A: Please be aware that the art is in my ownership by me and you have paid for the services of making a custom and personal piece for your own use. Do not heavily reference, copy, or trace my work. These rules are the same for many other artists. When given the finished piece do not sell or use my work for commercial use unless written consent is given by me, and me only.

Q: What do I do when I order?
A: Please provide references if any are available and provide details of what you want in the piece.  Some work ideas may be rejected because of no area experience and/or having no supplies to complete the task. This can be solved by discussing other ideas and we have agreed on the terms.

Q: How long does it take?
A: All big works take 1 to 2 weeks to complete depending on the complexity of the piece whilst smaller pieces such as headshots take hours. If you would like work earlier than the expected time a fee will be added when the piece is most complicated.

Q: What type of art do you do?
A: There are many art types in the art community but I have only been interested in just the right genres that seem to be popular within my standards. I can make many pieces such as gore, full-body sets, waist sets, character badges, headshots, and mainly sketches and line art. The full body is a head-to-toe demonstration while the waist set only goes to the thigh or higher. Character badges are headshots with their character name and are a near cartoon style genre. Sketches are non-finished drawings while lineart pieces are more clean and crisp with lots of detail.

Q: What is gore?/ What type of gore do you draw?
A: Gore has many ways to be drawn and usually has blood and body parts throughout the piece. But gore can be drawn with candy, bubbles, and slime. All of them are exactly what they sound like. Candy gore is drawn in bright colors and includes lots of candy-like objects and substances. Bubble gore was a topic I had created when I introduced myself to the world of gore. It consists mostly of bubbles that float off the body instead of seeping blood. Slime gore is a gore type in which the blood is more glued against the body and sticks to everything which the slime grasps.

Q: What do you not do?
A: I do not draw anime-styled drawings, Chibi OC's, explicit images, and complicated glitch art. What I am comfortable with is anthropomorphic animals, custom characters, realistic pieces, cartoons, horror, and fan art. If there are any other topics other than the ones listed please tell me in detail as to what you want. I will gladly accept it if it isn't too difficult.
